Most sewing projects require marking the fabric in some way or another. I have a number of different fabric marking tools--this chalk wheel is just one of them. I like this because I have never, ever had trouble getting the chalk marks out. They usually just brush right off, whether I've ironed them or not. The down side: as far as I know it only comes in the two colors, pale blue and white. The blue is dark enough to be seen on some light colored fabrics, but it's pretty hard to make out on many prints. Of course, if the chalk was darker, it might be more likely to stain your fabric, so I guess I'm not complaining :-)
It is one of my favoutires too. I like the razor-thin line!
